Chad's passion for the outdoors began as a small boy hunting, fishing and trapping with his father and grandfather in Central 
Lower Michigan. The harvest of a whitetail doe at age twelve
started Chad down a path that would evolve into his life’s work.

While attending Central Michigan University, Chad began working
at Jay’s Sporting Goods and today, over twenty years later,
serves as the company's Vice President. Jay’s outdoor atmosphere fueled his drive for adventure and allowed him to pursue
and harvest big game all over the world.

Chad lives in Sanford, Michigan with his lovely wife, Katy and their two children Payton and Cal.
