Fred Andalora...
Fred's
obsession with the outdoors has been a journey in good fortune and
perseverance. Born on the East coast, Fred grew up a "city"
boy but his heart and soul was always in the outdoors.
Thanks to the support of his dad and several mentors, he was
introduced to hunting and fishing as an early teen.
Since
that time, over thirty years ago, the "city" boy has
taken full advantage of those teachings. A mechanical engineer by trade,
Fred has used his aptitude to develop proficiencies in the use
of guns and bows. |
He has been a member of rifle and
archery sporting organizations, winning competitions in both. He maintains
all of his own equipment including ammo reloading, arrow making, and bow
setup. This also includes an obsession with scent control that is
second to none.
His
passion for hunting and fishing has lead him across the country, with
stops in over 15 states and 3 countries. Along the way he has been able
to take several game animals, including Elk, Red Deer, Caribou, Mule
Deer, Bear, Antelope, Russian Boar, Javelina, Turkey, and Chamois. His
favorite, the Whitetail, has taken him across the Midwest for the
last 10
years and earned him a number of trophy class bucks. |

Before joining Wild Addiction, Fred
was an integral part of the Outdoor Magazine pro staff, one of
the longest running outdoor TV shows on the air today. It was there that
Fred honed his skills as a cameraman, as well as an on screen presence.
Fred's genuine enthusiasm on camera is second to none in the industry.
He has been a part of some incredibly dramatic Whitetail hunts, all
captured on video.
Fred's
passion for the outdoors is also evident in his love for fishing. While
chasing big game consumes the bulk of his time, he always finds time to
pick up a rod and reel. Fred's "natural" abilities in the deer
woods are just as proficient on the water. If deer season isn't in,
there's a good chance you'll find Fred on the water somewhere!
Fred
lives in southern Michigan with the support of his best friend, and wife
of 20+ years, Lauraine, and two children Nick and Lauren. |
